Love & Care Birthday
For this card I started with a sketch from Splitcoaststampers (SC347) and for my color choices I started with the discontinued card stock that I still have and need to use. The card base is a standard A2 card in very vanilla which was then layered with barely banana card stock, always artichoke card stock and spring flowers designer series paper. I embossed a piece of always artichoke card stock using the square lattice embossing folder and layered it on to a piece of barely banana card stock. Using the Love & Care stamp set I stamped the stems on a piece of very vanilla card stock using always artichoke ink and then stamped the flower image using cameo coral ink. The stamped piece was mounted to barely banana card stock and then always artichoke card stock. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Bring on the Cake and was stamped using always artichoke ink on very vanilla card stock and mounted to always artichoke card stock and then barely banana card stock. To complete the look I created a no-tie bow using organdy ribbon (also discontinued) and an antique brad and attached it to the sentiment piece.
Supplies Used: Paper: Very Vanilla, Barely Banana, Always Artichoke, Spring Flowers DSP; Ink: Always Artichoke, Cameo Coral; Stamps: Love & Card, Bring on the Cake; Other: Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Organdy Ribbon, Antique Brad
