Pink Tie?

The title for this challenge was "Real Men Wear Pink" and I knew that the ties would be perfect. The "pink" tie is actually a little more coral but coral is a shade of pink so I think it qualifies. I used the same technique for this card as the one on the card I created here.

Celebrating You!

Since I struggled so much with my last card I thought I would keep this card simple. The champagne glasses were stamped onto whisper white card stock in black ink and then colored with a blushing bride marker and a little sparkle was added using a Sakura glitter pen. The image was punched out with a 2" circle punch and mounted to a scalloped circle of blushing bride card stock that was punched out using the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch.

Circle Easel Card

This card didn't turn out the way I had imagined. I really struggled with this challenge and had to step out of my comfort zone since I don't usually make circle cards. Most of the cards I make are standard A2 cards and once in a great while I'll make a square card.

Embossed Damask with Bling!

For the next few days most of the cards I am creating will be for the Hope You Can Cling To challenges. The challenge was to create a card with rhinestone bling. To make sure the damask print was lined up correctly I used my stamp-a-ma-jig. It is one of the tools that I use frequently. The images were stamped on pink pirouette card stock using craft white ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I really like the overall effect of the white on the pink.

Bright Pink Butterflies

This is the first card for Splitcoaststampers second annual Hope You Can Cling To challenges. The challenge was to create a card using "pink critters". I enjoyed participating in the challenges last year and it kept me creating cards right through Christmas and what is better than giving to a great cause. My goal for most of these challenges will be to create cards using some of the items that I still have in my stash that have long been discontinued. I kept things simple for this card since the color is so bright.
