"Cherry" Birthday

I have 4 co-workers with birthdays in February and I am usually the one who brings the cards for everyone to sign. I try to create cards that I think matches the person it is being created for in some way. This card is for a co-worker who is a young mother and a very sweet person. This card came together so nicely and I think she will love it.

European Cafe

I'm trying to get things together to send my daughter a package for Valentine's Day and her birthday. She really likes to go to Starbucks and I wanted to send her a gift card but I wanted to send it in a fun way. I created a pocket on the inside to hold the gift card. This reminds me of the sidewalk cafes in Europe. It is great to sit and enjoy a latte or cappuccino and watch the people go by. I look forward to the day when my husband and I can go back to Europe.

Supplies Used: Paper: Naturals White, Chocolate Chip, Burgundy, DCWV background paper; Stamps: Pun Fun; Ink: Basic Brown, Burgundy, Blush Blossom, Close to Cocoa, Versa Mark; Other: On Board Essentials, Burgundy Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Tag Corner Punch, Crop-a-Dile, Eyelets, Chocolate Chip Twill, Dimensionals

Masculine Card #3

I actually stamped on this card, although most of it did use background papers and punches. The hardest part is getting all the squares lined up straight. I really like how this card turned out and just by changing the colors and punches used it could be a very feminine card.

Supplies Used: Paper: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, DCWV Background Paper; Ink: Chocolate Chip; Other: Large Star Punch, Star Punch, Mat Pack, Blue Crystal Brad, Dimensionals; Stamps: Mini Mates

Masculine Card #2

For this card I kept if very simple. I know that many people think that adding ribbon doesn't necessary keep it masculine but since the ribbon is black I went with it. The background paper I used reminds me of patterns used in men's ties.
Supplies Used: Paper: Bravo Burgundy, Basic Gray, Basic Black, DCWV Background Paper; Other: Black Grosgrain Ribbon

"Masculine" Card #1

I have a difficult time creating "masculine" cards (like many of us). One of my friends asked me to create various cards that would be appropriate to give to guys. I really don't have many stamps that would work so instead I decided to use various papers and punches to see what I could create. I have created 3 very different cards and I think that any of them would be appropriate to give to a guy.
