Acetate Word by Word

Father's Day Tie

I've made cards very similar to this in the past but I never get tired of this design.  Here is a link to a previous card I've made using different colors.  Just by changing the sentiment this card would make a great birthday card too.

Paper:  Very Vanilla, Barely Banana, Sara DSP
Ink:  Black
Accessories:  Barely Banana Grosgrain Ribbon, Bashful Blue Rhinestone, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Dimensionals

Wonderful Mother

This card is a CASE (copy and share everything) of this card created by Georgeann Manning.  I used the same color palette but I chose to use paper flowers instead of buttons so that mailing this card wouldn't be an issue.  I changed a few other things but stayed very true to the original design.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Delightful Dozen
Paper:  Whisper White, So Saffron, Bravo Burgundy, Parisian Summer DSP
Ink:  Bravo Burgundy
Accessories:  Adorning Accents Edgelits, Boho Blossoms Punch, 3/8" Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Bird Builder Punch, Blossom Builder Punch, Paper Piercing Tool, Pearls, Dimensionals

Best Wishes

A co-worker asked me if I would make some all occasion cards for a benefit she is having for a friend who was just diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia.  I ended up making two sets of 12 cards.  I figured if I was cutting the card stock for one card I might as well use the other have and make two cards.  Since I donated the cards it gave me a chance to use some of the card stock that I still have in my stash that has been discontinued.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Papillon Potpourri, Petite Pairs
Paper:  Whisper White, Sage Shadow, Close to Cocoa, Autumn Vine DSP
Ink:  Versa Mark, Sage Shadow, Close to Cocoa

Paper:  Whisper White, Only Orange, Green Galore, Pink Passion, Sassy DSP
Ink:  Only Orange, Green Galore, Pink Passion

Washi Tape Banner Birthday

This card was for another one of my co-workers.  She isn't really a girly-girl type so I kept things simple.  I really like how this turned out.  I think if you eliminate the rhinestones this could even be a masculine card.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Wishes Your Way
Paper:  Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Lucky Limeade
Ink:  Black
Accessories:  Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Washi Tape, Rhinestones, Dimensionals

Party Hearty

This was the card I had originally made to send to my daughter for her birthday but decided it just wasn't what I was looking for.  It wasn't that I didn't like the card, it just didn't really seem like a card for my daughter.  I'm not sure if it was the colors or the images.  Luckily, I have many co-workers who need cards for their birthdays.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Patterned Party, Party Hearty
Paper:  Whisper White, Pink Passion
Ink:  Pink Passion, Lavender Lace, Chocolate Chip
Accessories:  Stamp-a-ma-jig, Pearls, Paper Snips, Dimensionals
