Birthday Sign

This is a CASE of a card I saw in the idea book and catalog.  I changed the colors but kept the same basic layout.  I don't know what I would do without my stamp-a-ma-jig.  I think I use that tool on almost every card I create.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Itty Bitty Banners
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Rose Romance, Early Espresso, Rebecca DSP
Ink:  Rose Romance, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Accessories:  Stamp-a-ma-jig, Bitty Banners Framelits, Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon, Rose Grosgrain Ribbon, Bamboo Skewer, Mini Glue Dots

Sweet Baby Whale

This was for a baby shower I was invited to and since the couple found out they are having a boy it was nice not having to make something gender neutral.  I love this little whale image and wanted to use this on the card and I've had this designer paper in may stash for so long it was nice being able to incorporate this with the whale.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Itty Bitty Banners
Paper:  Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Delicate Dots DSP
Ink:  Black
Accessories:  Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities Dies, Bitty Banners Framelits, Happy Whale Clearlits, Bashful Blue Grosgrain Ribbon, White Gel Pen, Pearl, Dimensionals

Santa's Little Helper

The April 2014 Christmas card challenge was to use a "Toy or Toy Soldier" on a card.  I don't own any stamps with a toy soldier and I thought about using a stamp with packages to represent wrapped toys but I had this new stamp set from Verve that I really wanted to use.  This little reindeer kind of looks like he could be a stuffed toy so I decided to use him.  I had to stamp and color 8 of these little reindeer but the card turned out so cute I didn't mind a little "fussy" cutting.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Santa's Helper (Verve), Season of Joy
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Real Red, Merry Moments DSP
Ink:  Black, Real Red, Old Olive, Creamy Caramel, Smoky Slate
Accessories:  Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Real Red Satin Ribbon, Scallop Border Punch, Paper Piercing Tool, Rhinestones, Dimensionals

Z-Fold Masculine Birthday

It's Monday again so time for another masculine card.  This z-fold card doesn't appear to have anything stamped on it but the stamped image is hidden beneath the designer paper ties.  I used the stamp set called "Best Dad Ever" and stamped the ties on whisper white card stock and then stamped the ties again on various scraps of designer paper and cut them out and adhered them over the images on the white paper.  Now it looks like a wardrobe of ties!

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Best Dad Ever
Paper:  Whisper White, Barely Banana, Brocade Blue, Sarah DSP
Ink:  Brocade Blue
Accessories:  Rhinestones, 2-Way Glue Pen

Floral Fantasy

This card came together very quickly.  I used an embossing folder and colored the floral images with various SU markers.  Once the flowers were all colored I spritzed the card with some frost white shimmer mist and then added the pearls.  A quick and simple card for any occasion you just have to choose a sentiment.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Happiest Birthday Wishes
Paper:  Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink
Ink:  Black, Various SU Markers
Accessories:  Floral Fantasy Embossing Folder, Frost White Shimmer Mist, Pearls, Dimensionals

Ink:  Brocade Blue, Old Olive, Black
Accessories:  Bluebird Grosgrain Ribbon, Pearl, Dimensionals

Yipee-Skipee! Woo-Hoo! Awesome!

This card was sent to my daughter to celebrate the fact that my husband and I had made the final payment on her college student loans!  I think it took me a little over 6 years to pay off those loans.  I know that most young people starting out today probably have in excess of 50 thousand dollars to pay in student loans.  Neither my husband nor I wanted that for our children so we helped in every way we could to ensure that they didn't have to start their adult lives with such debt.  I love the way this card turned out.  It is a little larger than a standard A2 card but I needed the height in order to include all of the little word bubbles.  As you can see from the number of stamp sets used I was able to have enough words to convey our happiness in acheiving our goal of having the loans paid off in under 10 years!

Supplies Used:
Stamps:Yippee-Skippee, Happy Day, Just Sayin', Happy Hour, Fabulous Phrases, Tiny Talk
Paper:  Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Black, Green Galore, Crumb Cake, Close to Cocoa, Brocade Blue, Pink Pirouette
Ink:  Black, Soft Suede
Accessories:  Owl Builder Punch, Bird Builder Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Pack, Scallop Circle Punch, Cloudy Day Embossing Folder, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Googlie Eyes, Rhinestones, Tombow Adhesive, Dimensionals

Christmas Quilt

This was the card I made for the March 2014 Christmas card challenge.  I actually made 8 of these cards.  The challenge was to "recycle, reuse or repurpose something" on the card.  I chose to use some red glimmer hearts that I had punched while making Valentine's Day cards.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Holiday Frame Fun, Little Shapes
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Real Red, Creamy Caramel, Red Glimmer
Ink:  Creamy Caramel, Real Red
Accessories:  Heart from the Owl Builder Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Tombow Adhesive

Ink:  Peach Parfait, Cajun Craze
Accessories:  Tasteful Trims Bigz Die, Cajun Craze Ribbon, Vintage Brads, Dimensionals
