Teen Birthday

This card was for my nephew who turned 15 this year.  I kept the card clean and simple and used Syracuse University colors to bring it all together.  To line up the birthday sentiment I used a my grid paper and a stamp-a-ma-jig.  The birthday sentiment measured approximately 1/4" high so I started in the center of my 2 3/4" square and spaced the sentiments 1/4" apart.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Best Dad Ever
Paper:  Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Brilliant Blue, Jersey Shore DSP
Ink:  Pumpkin Pie, Brilliant Blue
Accessories:  Pennant Builder Punch, Mat Pack, Paper Piercing Tool, Stamp-a-ma-jig, White Gel Pen, Dimensionals

Simply Elegant Holiday

This is the second monochromatic card I created for the August 2013 Christmas card challenge.  I stayed with my favorite color and used green but for this card I used old olive.  This card looks very clean and simple but the challenge was lining up all of the medallions and in order to achieve this I used a stamp-a-ma-jig.  I love the elegant look of this card.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Artistic Etchings, Christmas Lodge
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Old Olive
Ink:  Old Olive
Accessories:  Stamp-a-ma-jig, Old Olive Satin Ribbon, Pearls

Christmas Package

The August 2013 Christmas card challenge was to create a monochromatic card and I decided to use my favorite color...green.   I chose to use the color certainly celery, which was one of the colors that was discontinued when Stampin' Up did a color refresh for the 2013-2014 catalog.  This ended up being a very clean and simple card.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Winter Post
Paper:  Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Certainly Celery DSP
Ink:  Certainly Celery
Accessories:  White Taffeta Ribbon, Pearls, Designer Label Punch, Dimensionals
