My Grandson

My grandson (Ryan Michael) was born on February 13th, he weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long. He seems so small and is very precious. Look at all that hair! I'm not sure how much blogging I'll be able to do over the next few months since I want to enjoy as much time as I can with my grandson.

Valentine Treat Boxes

These are some simple Valentine treat boxes I created for my co-workers. They can hold 2 or 3 of the small square chocolates. Of course I only gave away the milk chocolate since the dark chocolate is my favorite ;).

Supplies used: Stamps: Taggers Dozen and Dot to Dot Wheel; Paper: Whisper White, Close to Cocoa and Bravo Burgundy; Ink: Close to Cocoa and Bravo Burgundy; Other: Stamp edged scissors, Dimensionals and ribbon.

Baby Shower Invitations

This is what I came up with for a baby shower invitation for my daughter-in-law. I needed something simple since I am handling all the arrangements for the shower. We already know that it's a boy so that made it easy as far as color choices.

Supplies used: Stamps: Cuddles & Tickles; Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Tempting Turquoise; Ink: Chocolate Chip and Tempting Turquoise; Other: Scallop Square Punch, Dimensionals and stickles.

More Clipboards

Here are a couple more of the clipboard countdown to Christmas calendars I made for people at work. I'm not getting very many Christmas cards completed lately since it seems I've only been working on these clipboards. I'll have to get the cards in the mail soon and then I'll have to begin planning my daughter-in-law's baby shower. For some reason her family isn't able to get things together so it falls to me (again). Oh well, that's just how it goes sometimes.

Supplies Used: Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Garden Green, Handsome Hunter, Background Paper; Other: dimensional die-cuts (Wal-Mart), assorted ribbon, words and numbers computer generated, clipboard from Wal-Mart, magnets, metal washers, acrylic paint, mod podge, tag punches, corner rounder punch, rhinestone brads

More Countdown to Christmas Clipboards

After I made the clipboard for my friend to donate to her daughter's ballet fundraiser I had several people at work ask if I would make them to sell. I can't tell you how many I've made. They are easy to make they just take time because you have to let both the acrylic paint and mod podge dry overnight before you can add all the other elements. Since I got several orders for them and I wanted to make them all slightly different it has taken me several days to complete them. I like how they are turning out and the extra money is nice too.
