Flocked Vintage Greeting Girl

I love the Greeting Card Kids stamp set. These images remind me of old fashioned Christmas cards that would have been seen during the Norman Rockwell era. The little girl was stamped on a 2 1/2" circle of whisper white card stock in black ink and colored with various SU markers. White flock was added to the hat, cuffs and bottom of the coat using a two-way glue pen. The image was mounted to a 3" scalloped circle of real red card stock. The Christmas Cocoa DSP was mounted to real red card stock (4 1/8" x 5 3/8"). The red flock piece measures 3" x 4" and the soft suede flocked piece measures 2 1/4" x 4". Real red satin ribbon was tied over the seam of the designer paper and then mounted to a whisper white card base (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). The scalloped circle stamped image was mounted to the card using dimensionals.

Supplies Used: Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Christmas Cocoa DSP; Ink: Black, Various SU Markers; Stamps: Greeting Card Kids; Other: 2 1/2" Circle Punch, 3" Scallop Circle Punch, White Flock, Two-Way Glue Pen, Real Red Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals
