Mitten Card

This card started with a standard A2 card base (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and then I drew the mitten shape to fit the base so that I would be able to mail it in a standard card envelope without losing to much of the base card size. You can find templates for mittens on the internet but it wasn't hard to create. Once I had the card base cut out I wanted to give it some texture so I stamped the print pattern and canvas background stamps using brilliant blue ink onto the mitten shape. The snowmen were stamped on whisper white card stock in black ink and colored with markers and adhered to a piece of black card stock. I attached the snowmen piece to the cuff of the mitten and stamped the sentiment using versa mark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. You will definitely want to make sure you use your embossing buddy so that the embossing powder only adheres to the sentiment. Stamp the tag image on whisper white card stock and adhere to black card stock. Add the silver cord and attach to the mitten with a dimensional.
