Post Card Santa

Another card using the Santa Collage stamp. For this card I chose to age the card by sponging the edges of all the layers using soft suede ink. The Santa image was stamped on very vanilla card stock (2" x 3") using basic brown ink and colored with SU markers, highlighted with a sakura glitter pen and frosted lace stickles and layered on soft suede card stock (2 1/8" x 3 1/8"). The sentiments from the Winter Post set were stamped using soft suede ink on very vanilla card stock (4" x 5 1/2") and the snowflake from the same set was stamped using bashful blue ink that was off-stamped to get a lighter image. The sentiment from the Merry stamp set and was stamped using soft suede ink and stamped over the snowflake image. The stamped layer was mounted to soft suede card stock (4 1/8" x 5 3/8") and then adhered to a card base in crumb cake card stock (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). The snowflake was created using the snowflake sizzlet and bashful blue card stock and glued to the card with tombow adhesive. The Santa image was attached and a rhinestone was added to the center of the snowflake.

Supplies Used: Paper: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue; Ink: Soft Suede, Bashful Blue, Basic Brown, Blush Blossom, Marina Mist; Stamps: Collage Santa, Winter Post, Merry; Other: Sakura Glitter Pen, Atyou Spica Gold Glitter Pen, Frosted Lace Stickles, Crystal Effects, Snowflakes Sizzlet, Rhinestone, Tombow Adhesive

Such a gorgeous card and this is one of my favourite stamps for Christmas - I'm inspired by your use of it - I find colouring in the Santa though very tricky
