Lacy, Racy, Lingerie

Another card for the "Hope You Can Cling To" challenges on SCS. The challenge was to be inspired by lingerie. I struggled with this one and decided to take this challenge literally. The corset was created using real red card stock measuring 4" x 6" and then folded like a "gate fold" card. With large oval punch create waist shape on folded sides, trim the top and bottom edges to complete corset shape. The corset was stamped with the victorian lace background stamp using versa mark ink and embossed in black. Evenly space eyelets along open sides and lace together with ribbon. Embellish corset using scallop border, lace, ribbon, etc. The corset is large enough to hold a gift card if desired.

Supplies Used: Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black; Ink: Versa Mark; Stamps: Victorian Lace; Other: Black Embossing Powder, Black Eyelets, Red Ribbon, Scallop Border Punch, Textile Embossing Folder, Crop-a-Dile, Dimensionals
